Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out and considering WordPress.com for your multi-vendor website. I’d be happy to help.
You can definitely build a commission-based business model on WordPress.com. WooCommerce, along with an extension, is the way to go for setting up a multi-vendor marketplace. The WooCommerce plugin will add e-commerce capabilities to your site. At the same time, the Product Vendors extension will turn your store into a multi-vendor marketplace allowing multiple vendors to sell via your site and, in return, take a commission on sales.
I noticed that you’ve already added the Business plan to your cart, so for a little extra savings, I’ve added a discount coupon in there as well. You will see the reduced total if you look here: https://wordpress.com/checkout/twotypesoflogins.wordpress.com
