Can carousel content be changed so that it is not always the same?

  Hi,

  I have the theme On Demand, everything is basically working fine (I learned on the theme for a year before publishing the site). What most attracted me in this theme was the slider carousel, and that is the part of the site that is not fine.

  I was expecting some possibility of the carousel not showing always the same content. I published 12 posts in category #1 (posts de alunos) and made the site run with settings for the carousel to display 8 posts. Today I published the first post of category #2 (e-Testes) and it was not showed in the carousel (neither in the “recent posts” widget).

  I tried to uncheck the “Stick this post in front page” button to see if there was a change in the sliding posts, but I got nothing.

  My questions are:

  1- What can I do to make the carousel to change or vary the displayed posts? If it stays like righ now, it will be boring for readers to see the same posts sliding everyday. I got 300 views in 24 hours of bloging and this audience needs some good attention.

  2- If I understood well another closed thread, do I need to have two post in category #2 to have posts of it displaying in the carousel. Is that right?

  3-Is there any way to have a small number of posts in carousel being displayed randomly out of a bunch of posts?
