Can comments be restored?

I was reading a comment on my blog using the WordPress app on my iPad. I wanted to reply to a comment and clicked on the flag icon below the comment and it disappeared. There was no confirmation or warning that I was about to delete something. It was not clear to me that the flag icon would delete comments.
Is there any way to recover and reinstate a deleted comment. I’d like to get this one back and respond to it.
By the way, the iOS WordPress app has a lot of bugs and limitations. I hope there will be an update soon.

Check in your spam folder, I expect the comment has now been flagged as spam and should be in there. You will be able to unspam it and send it back where it belongs.

Yeah, it’s not so good. Even though I use my ipad for everything I use Safari to get to things rather than the app. It used to be quite useable but then an update some time ago changed the format entirely and ruined it.
