Can crop image but it won't embed?

  uploaded photo: can upload but image WAY too big; can crop but then won’t embed? Help please! Claire Andrus regenesisc.com

  I’ll give you some steps to do this, and you let me know where it isn’t working for you.

  1. Select ‘Add Media’:

  

  2. Select the Media Library tag and select your image:

  

  3. Click “Insert into page”

  Now that the image is in your page, we can edit the size. Here’s one way you can resize the image:

  You can also edit your image size by dragging the boxes that appear around the outer edge of your image when you click on it:

  Thank you Shawna for the quick response!

  I’m on the Edit Media page. The “Insert into page” instruction you’re describing, is that insert onto the media page — that part is done unless you are telling me to upload it to my webpage — which it then appears GIGANTIC for some reason. So I began again, reloaded, cropped on the Edit Media page, selecting only my head which then created an Icon with a question mark that was unuploadable in place of my pic. I then tried aspec ratio or selection cropping to no avail. It’s a pic upload!! What’s my major malfunction?????!! Thanks! :-) ! Claire

  I see that my ABOUT ReGenesis and Claire Draft page is no longer there. It is saved in Word so I will reload it. So thank you for you help. Not sure how long it will take me to get this taken care of. I’m working on it now.
