can dates on imported posts be changed?

Toady I imported posts from my blogger blog because I prefer the features I have in wordpress. To be clear I’m mounting articles that were actually written between 2004-2006 but as I did not have either a blogger or wordpress account at the time these posts reflect the dates I entered them into wordpress and blogger(over the course of the last three weeks). I would like to change the dates so they appear within my blog in the chronological order I orignally wrote the articles in. Is that possible? (By the way importing them from blogger to wordpress was a breeze – everything came out perfect.)

Only way I can see you possibly doing this by manually changing the time stamp of each post, of course not the best way, but other than that I can’t think of any other way. Hopefully someone else could share some light on this.

Nope, that’s about it. Change the timestamp one post at a time. Hah, talk about a time thief… Oh, sorry, couldn’t resist. ;>

I could see doing it coming from an MT install but not a blogger one. With an MT install, you get a file to work with on your desktop. Coming from Blogger, the importer just scrapes your old site looking for the information. What’s there, copies over.

I vote for manually editing as well. Sorry.

Hmmmm well it doesn’t seem all that important to me any more, if you know what I mean. Thanks.
