Can email notices to followers be modified?

  When a viewer signs up as a follower, they receive an email that contains the entire actual new posting. Is there any way it can be set so that followers receive only a NOTICE of new activity, and they must go to the blog to see the posting?

  Go to “Dashboard” > “Settings” > “Reading”.
  Look for the section that says: “For Each Article in a Feed”.
  Click on “Summary”.
  And don’t forget to click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page.
