Can Existing Domain Name redirect to one page in blog?
-
I didn’t want to change the whole name of my blog, just have the existing domain name go to a single page on my blog. Is this possible? Do I have to pay for it?
What happens if I just enter the wordpress server names in my existing domain names account settings, on my own, without paying? Just wondering!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you don’t pay for the mapping, then wordpress will never know where to send your traffic. They will simply go to the wordpress.COM main page.
As far as I know, there is no way to map to a single page here. Generally that would take a line in a .htacess file and we don’t have those here.
Still, I don’t know for sure, so contact staff directly at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

You could achieve this by transfering your domain to another hoster, most of them offer a “redirect to a page” option.
