Can external widgets be used in wordpress.com sites?

  Hi,
  I have come across this instagram widget I would like to add to my blog, however before I buy it, I want to know if I can even install it on my wordpress.com site?

  No idea. What is the actual CODE that it gives you? You can use the Flickr widget to display your Instagram photos here for free.
