Can Followers Be Deleted For a Fresh Start

    I am considering whether or not I want to renew my domain, upgrade again, and do a fresh start with this blog name or not. The answer boils down to one simple question. Can I delete the 154 or so followers on asarielsmuse.com and start fresh or not? I haven’t used this blog in months but I do like the name. If I can delete the followers then I will fresh start this blog and if not I will simply let it all go when the domain expires. Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Hi

    I found some other topics (this and that) stating that you cannot remove followers, since it is a public blog.

    I have to ask you… why you don’t want people to read your blog?

    Also, I think it is not a good option to let the domain expire if you like it. You always can start a new blog, remove the domain from the previous one and map to the new. https://en.support.wordpress.com/all-about-domains/

    @pedger , thanks for the advice and the links. I appreciate it. I had searched the help site and it was looking to me like followers could not be deleted.
    I posted this in hopes that someone knew something I didn’t about a way to make it happen. Looks like a fresh start isn’t really an option. I do like the name, but not enough to bother with hassling around with a domain transfer. So’k just another adventure to chase. ;)
