Can followers receive email notifications only for a specific category?

  My blog is written both in English and French, each post is duplicated in both languages. When someone subscribe to my blog, they receive two emails for each post (one in English and one in French). Is there any way my followers could decide to subscribe to only posts coming from one specific category (either French or English)?
