Can Google Authenticator be Disabled?

  I posted on this problem yesterday, but with no response yet. I’m trying to be patient about this situation, but until it gets fixed I have no access to my blog. I am using a second identity in order to communicate on the support forum since “google authenticator is not recognizing any of the codes generated on my iphone or anywhere else. Yesterday morning it simply stopped working. I’ve been told there is a backlog of people with this problem, with one individual apparently waiting for a week now.

  What kind of wait am I looking at for this malfunction to be resolved? In order for me to gain access to my account I need to have the “google authenticator” disabled. I submitted a ticket yesterday morning on this URL given to me by a “volunteer”.
