Can hide blog title but not the tagline

    Hi

I’d like to replace my header text and tagline with a header image. However when I clear ‘display header text’ only the main title is removed, not the tagline. This means I’m unable use a header image as the tagline — ‘Making up news and spreading gossip since 2009’ –displays over it. What’s more frustrating is that the tagline text doesn’t even appear in any ‘behind the scenes’ boxes and yet it still shows in the header. Bah!

Any help someone could give me on rectifying this problem would be much appreciated. I’m using a free Nuntius template.

    Many thanks.

From looking at the code I want to say you have a text widget that is displaying that phrase.

Go to your Appearance > Widgets and there should be a section that says: Header widget area that most likely has a text widget.

You absolute star, I could kiss you! I had forgotten that was even there.

    Many thanks!
