Can I accept donations if I upgrade to the Premium Plan?

    I’m currently on free plans for my personal blog and for my small coffee roasting business, but I’d like to upgrade. I can’t go for the pricier plans, but I’d like to allow donations to my business. I know you can add a PayPal button with Premium…Does this include the ability to accept donations?

    Any help would be much appreciated. Hope you all have a great day, and I look forward to your responses.

    Hi Cade,

    You can use the Simple Payment button included in Premium to accept donations, yes:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/simple-payments/

    But you can accept donations on the free plan as well, using a basic PayPal Donate button:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

    It’s more complicated to set up than the Simple Payments button, and is just a button, so it’s not displayed like a product listing, but otherwise the end result when someone clicks it would be the same.
