Can I access WP via my Site Ground site if I don’t renew

  I simultaneously set up this WordPress site at the same time I established lauraberetsky.com via Site Ground. Ultimately, I stuck with the Site Ground URL, as the name is simpler. I regularly use WordPress to build new pages on my Site Ground site. If I don’t renew this Word Press site (lauraberetsky.wordpress.com), will that affect my WordPress access at lauraberetsky.com, the Site Ground site? Thanks.
