Can I add a custom widget to my blog?

  Hi… I have a basic WordPress account, and I want to add a CrowdRise widget to the sidebar to help with my fundraising. I have a snippet of code that will create the widget, but I don’t know where to paste the code! Is there a way I can insert the widget code somehow?

  Because we do not know exactly what the code is and your di not provide it or a link to where it’s displayed we cannot provide a definitive answer. We can tell you that no JavaScript widgets can be used for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  Yes it’s JavaScript and no you can’t use it – sorry.
