Can I add a follow with google widget to my new blog
-
I recently moved my google blog to wordpress and need to know if there is a way to add the “follow with google” button to my widgets?
I read the google site and they gave me this code
<!– Place this tag in your head or just before your close body tag. –>
<script src=”https://apis.google.com/js/platform.js” async defer></script>*** I have no idea where the “head” is in wordpress that they are talking about. Can someone help me with this? (Please keep in mind I am a newbie with no HTML knowledge.)
<!– Place this tag where you want the widget to render. –>
<div class=”g-follow” data-annotation=”bubble” data-height=”20″ data-href=”//plus.google.com/u/0/117818363433654633658″ data-rel=”author”></div>I know how to set up a widget, but when I try to past in <div class=”g-follow” data-annotation=”bubble” data-height=”20″ data-href=”//plus.google.com/u/0/117818363433654633658″ data-rel=”author”></div>, it is deleted and changed to something else after I hit enter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this newbie is completely confused.

See the forum topic Help with adding Google + Community Badge.
As Raincoaster indicates, creating a Text Widget link is an easy solution. You might also wish to try an Image Widget.
