can I add a forum to a text widget?

  I was wondering if there is a type of message forum that can be used in a widget…just a way for users to say hi and post comments.

  You can add a link to a forum hosted elsewhere, but you cannot have a forum on your blog here.

  Do a search (google or something) for “free forum hosting.” There are quite a few, but they do run ads on the forums they host, and you have no control over the ads.
