    Hi,

    1. I’m currently working with the 2011 Theme. I need a very clean theme for my fashion site. I want to add a mailing list signup to my home page. Can I do this without adding a sidebar? This theme does not allow sidebars except for the blog page. Tried two ways to embed the mail chimp sign up. No success.

    2. I currently have a blog on wordpress.com. Can I import this blog feed to my wordpress.org site? How do I do this?

    3. My sites:

    http://www.madcapheiress.com
    http://www.madcapheiress.wordpress.com

Thanks in advance for your help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    2. I currently have a blog on wordpress.com. Can I import this blog feed to my wordpress.org site? How do I do this?

Every wordpress blog has an RSS feed for comments and for posts (entries). This is the URL for the feed for your blog’s posts (entries):
    http://www.madcapheiress.wordpress.com/feed/

This is the URL for the feed for your blog’s comments:
    http://www.madcapheiress.wordpress.com/comments/feed/

On your webiste you will have to write something in PHP or javascript to do that. Here are a couple options:
    http://www.blastcasta.com/add-news-to-your-website.aspx
    http://www.webpronews.com/expertarticles/2006/10/09/rss-feeds-adding-a-feed-to-a-website-using-php

We do not provide support for installing the capacity on your website to draw the RSS feed from your blog here at WordPress.com. You must post to http://wordpress.org/support/ to get support for your WordPress.org install.

This is an excellent article on the Twenty Eleven theme that describes exactly how the theme is designed to operate.

If you wish you can use a contact form to invite readers to accept your offer to have their email address placed on your email list.

WordPress.com does not don’t offer integration with MailChimp — however you could link to a page for new subscriptions by using the image widget.

There’s also a blog subscription widget that you might want to use:

    Hi,

Thank you. I was also wondering if there is a way to fit images side by side (two next to each other). http://madcapheiress.com/collection/

    Thanks again!
