Can I add a new plugin to my wordpress.com blog?

  I wish to add a plugin that would show my currently reading list in my sidebar. How can I do so?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  You can only install plugins on self-hosted blogs and web sites using the WordPress.org software. Plugins are not permitted here at WordPress.com for various security reasons.

  Depending on what you mean by “currently reading list”, you may want to try using the Blogs I Follow widget or the Goodreads widget. Blogs I follow displays linked images for the blogs you follow Goodreads allows you to share your reading lists with friends.

  Hi!
  Thank you so much for that clarification. I was wondering if there is something wrong with my app.

  I want to show books that I’m currently reading in my sidebar. The Goodreads widget is not showing the books, but only the link to my Goodreads profile. So, I wanted to know if there was any other way.

  Actually, the widget is supposed to show a thumbnail of each book on your list. The following support document has detailed instructions on how to set up the widget: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/goodreads-widget/
