can i add a private directory?

  I would like to add a membership phone/address/email directory to our webpage as it is going to grow into a Women’s Club website posting meeting minutes, topics, a calendar that can have upcoming neighborhood events, etc. Is there a version (upgrade even? plugin’s?) that i can use in wordpress that would allow me that flexibility with the site?

  Hi there,

  There’s a few different ways you could achieve this functionality.

  One thing you could do is simply create a page for each member (or for a series of members):

  You could then control how these pages appear in your navigation menu by using the Custom Menus feature:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  You can embed PDF and other documents into your site by taking advantage of Scribd embeds:

  And embed your events calendar with Google Calendar:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/
