Can I add a subdomain for a domain bought from wordpress.com

  I need real help with this.
  I want to know whether I can or cannot create subdomains for the domains I bought from wordpress.com (ie. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/ ).
  Please if anyone can help me, please please do so. I want to know the answer if I should buy domain from another registrar or with wordpress.com.
  Because I want to make subdomains to be able to map them to other services (like blogger or tumblr.)
