Can I add a timestamp to posts in this theme?

  Just see a date. (Using the free version of wordpress.com, if it makes a difference.)

  Hi there!

  The theme is set up to display the date on it’s own, without the time included. You could however, modify your date settings in the WP Admin menu.

  Take your site at https://meyerson.wordpress.com/ and add wp-admin to the end of the address, like this:

  https://meyerson.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  That opens the WP Admin dashboard. From there, you can open Settings > General.

  You should see a section for the Date Format and another for the Time Format.

  This theme doesn’t display the time, but if you copy the values from the time’s “custom” option and put them on the end of the date’s “custom” option, you should get a date with a time stamp.

  So the Date Format will be set to Custom, and the setting will be:
  F j, Y g:i a
