Can I add an email subscription form to website?

  I want a quick email form either below my header image just like on kriscarr.com or above my image in place of the search thing. I don’t think wordpress will take the code, but I want to find out if you know an alternative if that’s the case.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Generally email subscription is added by widget, and neither the search field in your blog, nor the area beneath the header, are widget areas. Kriss Car doesn’t blog on WordPress.com, so it’s not comparable.
