Can I add another widget area to my footer? Barnsbury theme.

    Hi,

    Am I able to add another widget area to my footer? At the moment they are stacking and I’d like them to spread across the width when in desktop/tablet.

    Hi there!

    On desktop and tablet displays, the Barnsbury theme is designed to reserve half of the footer width for a footer menu. I see your site uses a footer menu as well.

    There is no easy way for you to add another widget area to the footer. Unless you add a considerable amount of custom code to a site, you generally go with the default widget areas provided by the theme or you switch themes.

    You can preview themes through the Customizer before committing to a switch, and I highly recommend that approach if you decide to look at alternatives.
