  i want to add background sound in my page of my blog? i have free blog? can i do that?

  No, for that you will have to edit theme which is not allowed.

  Not something that plays automatically.

  You CAN have music on your blog via playlists at Box.net and Last.fm, or in a blog post using the audio player and hosting the MP3 somewhere else free, like box.net or google. If you buy the space upgrade you can upload MP3s directly to WordPress.
