Can I add code snippets like the example below if I buy the personal plan?

    Hi,
    I want to create a tech and travel blog and I want to ask before buying that can I embed HTML into the post with ‘personal plan’?

    I mean embeding code via GitHub is something which I would be doing a lot so want to know that can I do that in my personal plan or not.

    One such example is this article-

    It is having code embedded via GitHub so you can have a look at it.

    And one more thing do you people have a refund policy if a user wants to discontinue services within a week or two?

    Hi there,

    There are limitations on the code which can be used on WordPress.com. You can see the allowed ones here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#html-tags

    Sites with a Business Plan can use code which otherwise wouldn’t be allowed. The Personal Plan cannot.

    As for a refund policy, should you purchase any paid plan and cancel it within thirty days, you will receive a full refund. You can treat this similar to a free trial.

    Note: You only have 48 hours to cancel a domain if you wish for a refund, so I wouldn’t recommend transferring or registering your domain until you’re certain you wish to be with WordPress.com.
