Can I add comment lines in CSS to help me understand?
-
In the dark ages of BASIC ( yes that is the only language I ever learned back in the 80’s), we could add REM statements to make notes within the program. Can we do that in CSS?
I am having a hard time understanding at a glance what an h1,h2 is as compared to a a: and a vav….. It would be nice to be able to add in a line that said “this is the body text” or whatever.
Help?

Normally in CSS, yes, but not here at wordpress.com which will strip comments and compact your CSS so it loads quickly. You can always copy/paste your changed into a plain text file and then comment it there. The syntax for comments in CSS is:
/*This is a comment*/ -
