Can I add images if i’m a contributer?

    Hi there, as part of our web module – our tutor has set up a blog, which he has invited several classmates to contribute to the blog (upload posts) but no adminstrator rights. I can only upload just a text post – but my tutor wants to upload images & video as well.

    I have tried to attach an image to the post but an error message pops up on IE7 & on Mozilla Firefox the pop-up states that i have no privelleges to upload images!

    I have read that uploading images is free – but how can i do this – or do i need to speak with my tutor to give me access to upload images, as i understand i have to pay if i want to upload video links to youtube.

    First of all, please provide us with the url of the blog, starting with the http

    Assuming the blog is hosted at wordpress.COM, if you are just a contributor, you cannot upload images, as explained in the FAQ http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/12/what-are-the-different-roles/

    Hi Vivianpaige – thank you for that vital link! I shall inform my tutor straight away. Our tutor set up the account as invites only, so I don’t think public users can access it.

    In regards to Rosclarke’s post – sorry I didn’t mean to duplicate this question, but i never hit the send button twice – only once. That was entirely wordpress or my broadband’s doing. If I could, I would have deleted the duplicate thread.(Runescape forum is so much easier.)
