Can I add my company name to the footer?

    Is it possible with the misty lakes design upgrade to add my company name to the footer (i.e Co. Name, all rights reserved) and at the same time change the text of “wordpressblog/theme” from bold to normal font? I’m trying to decide whether to upgrade to wordpress.org (with limited skills) and start over, but my skills are limited. I also really like this theme. Any help appreciate would be appreciated!

    You can’t delete the credits in the footer with the Custom Design upgrade, as apparently auxclass has explained to you, but I am not certain that you cannot change them as you have described. I’ve tagged this for Staff input.

    Whether you can use CSS to reposition a text widget in the footer to include what you’ve asked, I’ll leave that to those more experienced with CSS than I. Since you have the sidebar activated on your site, why not just add the copyright information there?

    You can change the font as long as the information is still visible. You can ADD things to the footer as well. You cannot Subtract things.

    a few observations

    <opinion>

    You are not going to loose any clients because of the footer

    Nobody much reads the footer anyway

    You have IS turned off so the footer will stay exactly where it is with no garish popup at the bottom of the window

    Some people shrink & blend – seen several suspended because they made it very small and almost the same color as the background

    I could probably get a Masters or Doctorate degree in Psychology on why people are so terrified of the footer

    RE Google Analytics in your other thread – Quantcast is built in but it seems you need to have it turned on – request at Quantcast – they give some more info than the stock stats here – but in the end you only care how many people call for an appointment – many people choose your services based on referrals from someone they know or if their med insurance covers the cost – then they look online to find your phone number and where you are located or to double check on insurance coverage
