Can I add one Amazon image link and one Amazon text link in the same post?

  I want to open a wordpress.com, free version, free domain (not my own). It says in this link Amazon affiliate links are allowed, but not text+link, not the combination. https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-amazon-com-affiliate-links-to-your-wordpress-com-site/

  However, if I add one image link and one text link next to each other in the same post, it won’t be a combination link. Can I use both an image link and a text link in one post?

  The thing is, I don’t understand if it’s not OK to use the combination link, but OK to use an image link and a text link, as long as it’s not the combination link, or if I can only use one link: either the image or the text.

  It doesn’t say that anywhere in that support page.

  What it does say is that you have to choose between a text-only or an image-only link. Text and image links cannot be used, because they won’t work on WordPress.com. It has nothing to do with what is or isn’t allowed.
