Can I add page numbers to my main page?
-
I want to add page numbers to the bottom of my main page so readers can jump from page to page rather than continuously scroll.

Hi there,
The Bueno theme that you are using on your blog loads older posts below the newer ones, rather than loading a new page with those posts. However, you can still direct users to a specific page of posts by using the page number in a link like this: http://thatwebshite.com/page/2/
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions about this, please let me know.

Is there a key word I can use to search for themes that use page numbers? Also, thank you for your assistance!

There isn’t a keyword to search for that feature, but there are a couple things you can look for:
– Themes that don’t have the Infinite Scroll option will have separate pages for older posts (so readers can click from page to page). You can check to see if a theme you like has infinite scroll or see if it’s on the list of themes with infinite scroll, so you can avoid those themes.
– If you specifically want page numbers (rather than a button that says “older posts”), you may want to try the Triton Lite theme. Most themes here at WordPress.com use either the infinite scroll or a button that says “older posts,” but Triton Lite has page numbering for older post pages.
Please let me know if I can provide any further help. :)
