  I am looking to teach online and will be selling subscriptions through paypal. Will I be able to include a link? Thank you

  Yes, you can sell individual items on your site using your PayPal account and a button directing your readers to the PayPal payment screen. You should be able to do it by following the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
