Can I add project tag cloud?

  Hi, I am using the Gazette theme for its portfolio option. I am a writer, and I’ve been putting each of my published works as a New Project.
  What I’m wondering is, if there’s any way to create a tag cloud from my project tags? Everything I can find in the widgets only lets you create category clouds, or tag clouds that are from posts or pages – not from projects. Is there any way to create either a cloud or a menu of the tags from my portfolio projects?

  There is no project tag cloud widget.

  However you can create a text widget with links to your tags like following:

  <a href="http://yourgroovysite.wordpress.com/project-tag/my-project-tag-slug/">My Project Tag</a>

  Thanks so much. I have seen this before and it still confuses me. I’m not sure what to put in for “slug.” And using this system, does this only allow me to create a link for ONE tag at a time?

  I actually looked around in your portfolios but could not see any project tags set on them. Do you have any project tags?

  Slug will be the name of your project tag, spaces replaced with hyphens, if any. So if your project tag name is abcd xyz, the above code will be

  <a href="http://yourgroovysite.wordpress.com/project-tag/abcd-xyz/">My Project Tag</a>

  You can create multiple tags just add the above line once for each tag, with replaced slug.

  Thanks for your help. However, I’m still totally confused as I DO have project tags on every single one of my projects. For example, look at this one:

  I have the following project tags on it:

  art

  Austin

  Castle Hill

  CultureMap

  graffiti

  SOS Austin

  suicide

  suicide prevention

  ???? Please explain further.

  Thanks for your help. I’m attaching two screenshots – one shows the project I was talking about – the Castle Hill one – on its edit page with the project tags. The other shows my list of projects with the first few and their project tags. ???

  I just want to be able to make a tag cloud in a widget, but since my tags are on projects and not on posts, I’m unsure how to do this.
