Can I adjust the text column width or make the right column scroll down?

  The text column doesn’t fill the page, i.e., as you scroll down past the end of the right-hand column, there is just blank space to the right of the text. Is there a setting I can change to make the text fill in that space, or alternatively, to have the right hand column scroll down with the text, to be always visible? Do the different format settings available on the editor page, right hand, (“video” “image,” “standard” “aside” etc.) have anything to do with it? I’ve clicked on those and have seen no changes.

  In order to go full width on the Posts/Home page, you would need to do one of two things:

  1. Purchase the annually renewable Custom Design upgrade which will allow you to change your existing theme’s CSS.

  2. Change to a theme that is full width and has no sidebar.

  Looking at your site, I might also suggest a third solution, which is to simply limit the number of visible posts to 4 or 5 at the most rather than using “infinite scroll”. You can do so by unchecking the option in Dashboard>Settings>Reading>To infinity and beyond
  and adding the number of posts to appear on the homepage under> Blog pages show at most X posts. Save your changes.

  No, but each post format is styled differently when viewing the front/homepage.

  Ok. So if I make the $18 purchase, I’ll be able to accomplish this by changing a particular setting? I do like the sidebar; it’s just not long enough even for a single post.

  I believe the Custom Design upgrade is 30 USD. See here: http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/custom-design/

  It is not as easy as “changing a particular setting” as you will be modifying the theme’s style sheet. If you need assistance with CSS, there is help in the CSS Customization forum.
