It is possible to forward multiple domains to one site. They will typically redirect so your visitor will end up on whatever your “official” site is, for example if you set up the equitable-healthcare.com address, you could redirect the .org address so that anyone who types it in that way will still be directed to equitable-healthcare.com.
The directions for this will be slightly different depending on your registrar, Namecheap has a tutorial on it here:

Domain forwarding as suggested above is bunkum – your domain name will never search at all and the links to your blog will be all messed up – search engines will never see your custom domain names –
You want domain mapping – you can map more than one domain name to the same blog – BUT – only one domain name can be the “Primary” domain name – that is the domain name that visitors see in their browser address bar – some people do use domain forwarding for secondary names that are misspelling etc to just dump the bad spelling to the correct domain name

I guess us rookies are short on proper nomenclature. I want two URL’s to point to the same (one) blog.

Yes. As explained above, there are multiple ways to do this. Follow auxclass’s advice. Buy another domain and map it to your blog. You will have to choose one of the however many you buy as Primary.
