Can I attach domain name to different blog?

  Hi there, I have a domain name (caitigrove.com) and would like to detach it from my wordpress blog and attach it to another blog (http://cargocollective.com/caitigrove) – can you maybe tell me how I would go about doing this? Thanks so much, Caiti

  We actually have a product which will allow you to forward your domain name to that exact address. It’s called Site Redirect and you can read about it right here:

  Hi there, I’ve bought the site redirect, but when I type in the address (caitigrove.com), it changes to http://cargocollective.com/caitigrove/ – how do I get it to stay just as the shorter domain name?

  Hi @caitigrove,

  I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that was something that you wanted! Unfortunately that is not something which is possible within our system. If the other website has either nameserver settings or an IP address which we can set for your domain, we can do that for you, however with just this address, the best we can do is redirect it like we are doing.

  If you’d like, you can cancel your site redirect and get a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

  Please go to the Store -> My Upgrades section of your dashboard, where you’ll find the site redirect in the list of your upgrades, along with a “Cancel” button.
