Can I attach more than 1 photo from my media library to a post @ the same time?

hi. i’ve searched the forums and support for an answer to this question – and i think a few people have raised it, but a lot of the conversations were pretty protocol-focused and combative, so i have yet to see the answer in pixels! be nice! i’m new to asking questions!
my blog is http://www.ch3stnuthiller.wordpress.com. i’m using firefox and/or safari with my macbook and snow leopard. not sure that applies here at all, but there you go.
i uploaded a TON of photos to my library and added captions, intending to insert them into a post as a slideshow – took FOREVER. now i realize that i needed to save my post BEFORE uploading them so that they’d be ATTACHED to the post so that the’d be placed in a gallery and the insert slideshow option would be available. buuutttt i didn’t. so i’m having to go in and, one by one, attach them to my drafted post, which i haven’t published yet (so don’task em which post i’m talking about! i haven’t published it because it’s going to be entirely slideshow-focused!).
is there any way to attach multiple photos to a post at the same time? the only really useful bulk option i see is DELETE!!! it would save me a year of my life!

No, you cannot bulk-attach unattached images.
What you should have done is batch-upload via the “Add an image” button of the post editor.
