Can I automatically approve self-pings only?

  My blog (hosted on wordpress.com) requests that I approve links from one post to other posts, all on the same blog. Can I disable this _only_ for links from one of my posts to another?

  Hi there!

  I think you’re referring to pingbacks and if that’s right, you can disable pingbacks from your own blog, here’s more information about that:

  Is there a way to keep the self pings, but not have to approve them each time?

  Hi there,

  Afraid not, no. Pingbacks always need to be approved, even if they’re self-pings. This is how this feature was designed to work in the software itself, over at WordPress.org.
