Can I cancel account with an email?

  I sent an email within 48 hours to cancel my account because I am unable to speak with anyone until Monday, Sept 19th. Is that sufficient to get a refund?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I did several searches but I am unable to find another way to cancel account/get refund. The link to cancel domain sends me to a page that states WordPress is closed until Sept 19th. Any answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  I am assuming that you mean to cancel an upgrade not an account.

  Yes that should be sufficient. The staff are still working to work off a backlog and improve how WordPress.COM works. They have a good record on the refunds, if there is a question about the time frame refer them to this Post to help establish that you requested a refund in the proper time frame. I will also flag this for Staff attention.
