can I cancel premium upgrade without losing my custom domain on .com?

  i upgraded my .com account today, but realized i need to switch to .org to be able to customize my blog. please let me know so i can proceed with the upgrade cancellation with out losing my custom domain. thanks.

  You can cancel your Premium bundle and domain within 48 hours after purchase, and the domain in most cases will be released back into the registry, and made available for re-registration elsewhere.

  If you don’t want to take a chance and want to keep your domain registered through WordPress.com, just confirm here and I can take care of that for you. You’ll be issued a $73 refund, which is $99 minus $26 for the private domain.

  I’ve gone ahead and cancelled the Premium upgrade and issued a $73 refund. It can take 1-2 weeks for a refund to be reflected on your account. Your domain registration is still intact and the expiry date is still 2014-05-21.
