Can I centre my widgets in the side bar

All the widgets I add to the side bar automatically range left and it looks very odd. I want them to be centred – how can I do that?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. That’s how the theme Vigilance is made actually. The sidebar is so wide because it can be replaced with two small sidebars (or you can have both). So, I can think of the following solutions:
    – You could use the two small sidebars instead of the wide one to try to balance it out
    – You could replace the widgets with a text widget that has center alignment, as explained here: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/06/10/formatting-text-pt-1/
However that would involve lots of manual work, especially for the blogroll widget
    – You could select another theme with a narrower sidebar
    – You could perhaps change the default alignment if you have the CSS upgrade and you know CSS language

Thanks – really helpful and partly what I suspected. The link is very useful. I understand about formatting a text widget – but how could I use the Flickr widget with a text widget (for instance?)
