Can I change a category page title?
-
Hi,
If you visit this link:
http://ianfitz.wordpress.com/category/learning-electronics/
You will see the title text: Archive for the ‘Learning Electronics’ Category. I would like to change that text, and possibly add additional text giving a brief explanation of what this category is about.
Is this contained in some kind of theme variable that is exposed in the WordPress.com UI?
I’m pretty sure I can figure out how to hide it if I upgrade my account to support CSS, but I’d prefer to actually replace the text.

I think this support documentation entry will be helpful http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/category-management/

Sorry, I’ve read this documentation but it does not seem to be relevant my issue.
The issue is not changing the category name, it’s changing the context within the ‘pagetitle’ class. In my case it’s an h2 set to class pagetitle. This is a templating issue, unless it’s under categories in the the gui and I’m not just seeing it?
Thanks/Ian

This is a templating issue …
