Can I change a post to a page?

Can I change a post to a page? Or do I have to save a copy and make a new page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no automatic means of doing this. Pages site outside the blog structure. It’s a copy and paste and delete the original job.

You’re welcome. It doesn’t take long so go at it. :)
If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion know that I have blogged for many years and Pages have a limited use ie. they are for static content that rarely changes. These days new bloggers are using Pages incorrectly and doing that negatively affects pagerank.
A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.
What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.
Any WordPress blog can be restructured from being post based to being page based – no upgrade required. However, unless the content is unlikely to be changed then Posts are the way to go. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

That is really helpful. I am creating a new site for a local non-profit group which is why I want some pages – some of the official info and background detail will not change. I am hoping members of the group will take responsibility for posts so that the site gets really interactive involvement but the static information will stay as it is. I love WordPress, it enables either kind of site and it enables me the novice administrator to enable others to become users or editors. Thanks again.
