Can I change a tag to a category?

  Hi. I have a bunch of tags but no categories. Is there a way to change a tag to a category, and keep all tagged posts attached to that new category?

  No, tags and categories are two seperate things.

  So it would be a manual process, creating categories and then changing the tags on posts, one by one?

  Or is there a way to throw all posts with a given tag into one category?
