Can I change an existing page into a blog & have multiple blogs on one account?
-
I am part of a team of fourth grade teachers, and have been creating a grade-level website for the four of us to use. Our home page is where general posts are added, and we have many pages set in a hierarchy after that. One of those pages contains our contact information, and we each have our own subpage to add content more specific to our own classes. I originally set these four pages up as pages, but have since realized that we want them to be more like blogs/posts, where we can continually add posts that are listed in reverse chronological order. But of course, since these are pages and not posts, that’s not quite possible. Is there a way to set these four pages up as blogs instead of pages, so we can add posts periodically that will be organized like our home page (in posts)? I understand that we could probably each create a new blog site through wordpress and just link those to the contact page, but we are hoping for a solution that doesn’t require four new accounts and passwords and URLs. Does that make sense? In other words, I’m wondering if there is a way to change these pages to blogs without creating extra accounts.

I would try using categories : one category per teacher. You can add long descriptions to categories, replacing what you had in your pages.
Then, in custom menus, replace your old pages by those blog categories. Would this work ? -
You cannot post to pages. But you can use categories and a custom menu to make it appear as if there are separate pages for different categories.
Here is an article which has details how to do this:
