Can I change back to my old blog address?

  I changed my blog name from ‘gameandlifeawareness.wordpress.com’ to ‘rainawareness.wordpress.com’ to make it shorter, but I got from getting dozens of views a day to getting none. I tried searching for posts on Google with my new name ‘rainawareness’, and it just used my old address for some reason: http://i.imgur.com/NPvRQ92.png . So my posts are pretty much inaccessible. I didn’t think such a thing was possible and I accidentally marked the ‘disable my old address’ box.

  No.

  7. The final option on this screen allows you to discard your current address. This option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again.

  Eventually search engines will learn that you have a new address and change the search results – can take a couple of months I am told. Best thing to do is make sure you make some new Posts to help search engines know you have moved

  also your site is hard to read – the front page runs on and on – think about using the More Tag to make your site easier to read for visitors

  The site linked to my name uses the More Tag all the time if you want to see it in use
