Can I change back to the old way of adding a photo into a blog post?

Why did you change the way you handle media? I really don’t like it. Is there any way to insert a photo the old way, or at least, have a photo behave the same way when you click on it?
What I’m talking about is that when you used to click on a photo, if it didn’t direct you to a link to another site (say Flickr, for example), it would just get enlarged and open in another window. But now it opens in another window, shows the name of the photo above it, and also directs people to leave a reply below the image. I don’t want people to leave replies for each photo. Is there a way to disable that feature? And isn’t there a way to go back to way it was before and just have a window with the photo enlarged with no other text?
I don’t want to have to have all my photos connected to another link just so people don’t leave replies for my photos. And I don’t like the names of my photos showing, either.

Veronica, I had this same problem myself.
You will need to delete the photos from your post and then go back into the media uploader and on the right hand side below the title/description boxes (possibly out of sight so you’ll need to scroll down) is a drop down box with options of attachment page or media file. Choose media file and then re-insert your picture. This way when somebody clicks on your picture they will get the old behaviour of the larger picture appearing.
I had to do this on just about every one of the 40 or so pictures I added into posts over the weekend. Very frustrating!

If you want the picture to open larger, choose Media File so it will link the image to its original, full-size version.
