Can I change font in "skylark" theme?

  I’d like to change the theme of my website. I like Skylark — but I’d like to change the font. Is this possible? Also is it possible to change the background color (from that teal blue to something else)?

  Sarah,

  Please visit your WP Admin dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your sites URL like so:

  https://sarahpendergast.com/wp-admin

  On the left hand sidebar, hover over Appearance, then select Customize. You will see the ability to change font and background color there.

  Thanks for chiming in, mariahpierson.

  Just wanted to clarify that you don’t have to visit WP Admin first to get to the Customizer.

  You can get there quickly via My Sites > Customizer, or visit https://wordpress.com/customize

  Once you’re in the Customizer, head to the Fonts panel to select a font.

  Changing the blue in the header strip will require Custom CSS, available with the Premium or Business plans.

  This should do the trick – you can modify the colour codes to whatever you prefer:

  .site-header {
    background-color: #bb00bb;
    border-top: 4px solid #ffccff;
  }
