can I change from a .com to a .org?

    i want to switch to a wordpress.org. I have a wordpress.com and didn’t know until now that I can’t do a business blog on the .com. How can I change to the .org? Can I transfer my payment to a .org? Otherwise switching to a new host!

    Unless you want to do ecommerce or sell merchandise you can certainly have a business blog here, and lots of coaches do.

    To do a WP.org blog, you need to find and buy hosting somewhere and then export the contents of your blog here (on the Tools page) and on the new blog Import the contents. Change where your custom domain points, choosing the new blog, and away you go.
