can I change later to a .org or .com URL and keep my content?

    Hi! I’m just getting started with a blog on wordpress.com. I’d like to I start with the free option and keep the wordpress.com tagline, but can I eventually upgrade to a paid-for .com or .org tagline and keep all of my content, just change the URL?

    You can register a custom domain name and map it to your blog any time for total of $18.-/year and all of your content is kept and the original URL’s keep working and the new custom domain name also works – simple like magic – takes maybe 5 minutes to do (plus the time to decide on the custom domain name)
